SKU: inf2.0 Finally an all-purpose physics simulator and tutorial creator! Remember when you had to buy one program for optics and then another for forces and another for circuits? Say goodbye to those days as Infinite Physics Simulator 2.0 simulates optics, forces, vectors, DC circuits, electrostatics and more! Use Infinite physics simulator to quickly and easily create challenging physics tutorials or nifty diagrams to use in your on-line or written exams. Using Infinite physics simulator is easy. In just minutes you'll be on your way to creating physics tutorials tailor made to your needs. The software recognizes common metric prefixes along with SI units and many other kinds of units for rapid property setting. Create single or multiple-page tutorials. Load your own graphics and segmented-bitmap animations. And the best part is with the free viewer version, your students can play your tutorials but not make any permanent changes to them. That’s right, the student viewer version is free. You may install it on as many computers as you’d like. Let's explore the world of infinite Physics Simulator Professional 2.0 … Optics Infinite physics simulator has a large collection of objects useful for optics simulation including mirrors, prisms, lenses and other transparent objects; and lightsource objects. Lightsource objects simulate the firing of light rays at wavelengths from 400 nm to 700 nm at angles of your choosing. Light rays duplicate real-world behavior as they encounter mirrors, lenses and other objects. Objects can be set to a constant index of refraction or one that varies with light wavelength. Infinite physics simulator offers ray tracing capability and angle measurement with or without normal lines shown. Vectors Vectors can be displayed for any enabled object except labels and lightsource objects. The vectors can be displayed tail to tail or head to tail. The following types of vectors can be displayed and measured. 1. Applied force vectors - these are custom forces determined by the user. 2. Electric force vector - based on Coulomb’s law, this applies only to point charges. The net electric force on a point charge can be displayed. 3. Newton’s universal law of gravitation vector - the net gravitational force due to all other objects on the page can be displayed. 4. Weight vector - determined by the mass of the object and the gravitational field of the page as set in the Options\Gravity menu. The perfect tool for teaching vector addition, Coulomb's Law, Newton's 2nd law and Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation. DC Circuits Infinite physics simulator is able to simulate DC circuits using four different circuit objects. Circuit elements such as resistors, light bulbs, capacitors, meters and DC batteries can be easily dragged and dropped onto a circuit. Resistors can be displayed with or without the color code. Students can change the values of circuit elements at any time during the playing of a simulation with instant display update. You'll have no trouble quickly creating activities on equivalent resistance, equivalent capacitance, Ohm's law, Kirchhoff laws, capacitance, charge, current, voltage, or power. Electrostatics Professional looking point charges can be easily added to any page to create whatever charge configuration you can dream up. Infinite physics simulator is able to display electric field lines, equipotential surfaces, electric field strength, electric force, electric potential and electric potential energy. Five equipotential surfaces and eight electric field lines starting at 45 degree intervals can be drawn around a point charge. If you teach electrostatics, this is pure gold. Why not create a simulated lab right on the screen? Students can use the built-in timer and rulers to collect data and then graph it using the linear regression tool. Includes a written manual and free student viewer version. SHIPPING $4.95 in the USA. International friends contact for shipping to your area. Shipping may not appear automatically
